Adjusting the plow for the Neva walk-behind tractor. Plow on a walk-behind tractor: adjustment parameters and step-by-step instructions. Adjusting the walk-behind tractor plow

What is the basic function of each walk-behind tractor? Of course, plowing and preparing the soil for sowing. Using the attachments for the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor that comes with the kit, you can easily loosen the soil to a depth of up to 200 mm with a soil working width of up to 1200 mm if you use at least six of these cutters. Six sheds are capable of loosening up to 0.12 ha/h. In total, the set can include 8 cutter-cultivators, which will be useful to you on the farm. The diameter of each cutter is 360 mm.

However, cutters have one drawback. The fact is that they are only able to cultivate the soil if they constantly work on it from year to year. Such a canopy is not able to cope with even the slightest difficulties. Maybe that’s why the buyer doesn’t mind putting them in the kit.

Attachments for the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor

To handle heavier soil, you will need a plow. The P1 20/3 mounted plow is perfect for the Neva walk-behind tractor. Such a canopy copes at a depth of 215 mm with a soil working width of 220 mm. Weighs approximately 7.8 kg. Dimensions P1 20/3 - 535x310x400 mm.

The most popular attachments for the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor are usually a hiller and a plow. The hiller is designed to add soil to the roots of planted plants. It can also be used as a milling cutter or plow, that is, to prepare the soil for planting. For Neva and Neva MB-2 there are two options for hillers. These are the mounted hiller OH 2/2 and the double-body hiller OND.
OH 2/2 can work at a depth of up to 300 mm. Covers ground area up to 420 mm. The dimensions of this device are 540x170x445 mm. And OH 2/2 weighs - 4.5 kg.

Okuchnik OND

Another option for working on the site is the OND hiller. But it is weaker than the previous canopy. It reaches a depth of only 80 to 120 mm, and captures a width of 250 to 430 mm at a time. When purchasing an OND, take into account its weight of 13 kg, which is noticeably twice the weight of the previous hiller. The dimensions of this equipment are 470x570x700 mm.

Potato digger KNM

If your garden is planted with potatoes, take care of how to dig them up. For this purpose, there is a KNM mounted potato digger for use on the Neva walk-behind tractor. In order to get potatoes, it can go to a depth of up to 220 mm. This immediately takes away 250 mm in width. Equipment dimensions - 560x370x540 mm. The potato digger weighs 5 kg.

If you are not satisfied with the KNM, you can choose the KV-2 mounted potato digger for the Neva and Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor. It is smaller, lighter and covers more ground at a time than the previous device. The KV-2 boasts a soil working width of 300 mm and a weight of 3 kg, and the dimensions of the potato digger are 540x300x445 mm.

But in order to attach any of the mentioned attachments to a walk-behind tractor, you need the correct hitch. Each walk-behind tractor has its own coupling mechanism, and this also applies to the Neva walk-behind tractor.

The SV 1/1 hitch is suitable for these units. Its weight is 5.2 kg, and its size is 435x130x175 mm. The hitch is aggregated with a plow, hiller, and potato digger. Can attach frame with two locks. Another choice of hitch for the Neva is the BAZA hitch. Its dimensions are 220x130x200 mm with a weight of 3 kg.

Lugs for walk-behind tractor Neva and Neva MB-2

In order for the walk-behind tractor to go deeper into the ground, metal wheels with lugs are put on it. Buy KMS wheels for the Neva walk-behind tractor. Each wheel weighs 12 kg. Its diameter is 460 mm and width is 215 mm.

There is another version of lugs for your walk-behind tractor. Designed to hill up the ground, the KUM metal wheels are larger in diameter than KMS - 700 mm, although they are thinner - 100 mm. But this has its own specifics - depending on what kind of processing you need the canopy for. The weight of each KUM wheel is 15 kg.

Grousers Ф340х110 may be suitable. The width of each lug is 110 mm with a height of 340 mm.

Trailer or trolley for walk-behind tractor

Also, you can look for a trailer for the Neva and Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor. You will probably need to transport various loads, especially if you have a dacha in a rural area. A TPM-M trolley has been created for your unit. You can freely load it with a weight of 150 kg, but no more. The maximum speed at which a trailer can travel is 10 km/h. When traveling on the road, the clearance should not be less than 150 mm. The trolley for the walk-behind tractor weighs 85 kg, and its total dimensions are 2200x1125x950 mm. The size of the trailer body is 1140x825x250 mm.

Another model, TPM, can be yours. Its characteristics are absolutely superior to TPM-M. Such a trolley can handle a load of up to 250 kg, the total dimensions of the trailer are 2700x1250x880 mm, and the dimensions of a single body are 1330x1110x300 mm. When driving, the distance between the trailer and other objects should not be less than 300 mm. TPM-M also weighs more - 130 kg. Both versions only have a common top speed - the TBM cannot accelerate more than 10 km/h.

Mower for walk-behind tractor Neva

In order to provide yourself with a beautiful lawn in your yard, buy yourself a mower for the Neva walk-behind tractor. By the way, this is the canopy that can be useful not only in the village, if you have a plot of land used for a vegetable garden, but also in a private city and country house.
Among the mowers that were created for the Neva and Neva MB-2, there is a knife KN 1.1. Capable of mowing 1100 mm wide grass in one pass. The maximum height of grass that the device can cut is 40 mm.

Mows at speeds up to 3.6 km/h. The weight of the mechanism is 45 kg.
It is much more popular to use rotary mowers on the site. If you have a Neva walk-behind tractor and an uncut lawn, buy a Zarya rotary mower. Its characteristics: in one pass it covers a width of up to 800 mm, weight - 33 kg, can mow 0.15 ha / h. The size of the Zarya mower is 810x930x600 mm.

In addition to these two, you have the choice of using the Neva mower of the same name. True, it cuts the grass 5 mm below the blade. And the possible grass cutting width is 580 mm. Of the three, this one is the weakest.

Features of the modification of the Motoblock Neva MB-2

Neva walk-behind tractors are presented to consumers in several of their models. For example, it could be Neva MB-2K 7.5. Or do you have Neva MB-2B 6.0. There is also Neva MB-2B 6.0 PRO or Neva MB-2B 6.5 PRO. If you are looking not only for attachments, but also are thinking about a new walk-behind tractor, buy a Neva MB-2S 7.5 PRO.

In general, the attachments for all Neva MB-2 models are not very different. But even something that doesn’t quite fit is much easier to remake than equipment from other walk-behind tractors.

We have already mentioned the CB 1/1 hitch. It can be attached to the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor, which we listed above, and also connect the hitch to the MB-23.
Neva walk-behind tractors are mainly represented by the MB-2 series, so all the attachments that were described above can easily fit any Neva unit.

Attachments for the Neva walk-behind tractor: video

After describing the possible attachments for the Neva walk-behind tractor, to give you a complete idea of what it is, we provide you with a video in which you can see the attachments.

Motoblock Neva: attachments for snow removal

The main task of the walk-behind tractor is to cultivate the soil and get rid of weeds. We also already realized that you can attach a canopy to the Neva walk-behind tractor for cutting grass, or a cart to transport cargo. All this is mainly used from spring to autumn.
But in winter you can also use the Neva walk-behind tractor if you buy a canopy for it for snow removal.

Neva walk-behind tractor: attachments for snow removal are available in three versions - a snow removal canopy, which imitates the operation of a professional snow blower, a blade shovel and a brush for a walk-behind tractor.

The SMB-1 snow removal canopy fits the Neva walk-behind tractor. In operation, it covers a surface 64 cm wide. It is capable of removing accumulated snow 25 cm high and throwing it at a distance of up to 5 meters.
You can also use a blade blade for the Neva walk-behind tractor if you just need to remove snow that was three days old. Works with shallower snow depths. Covers 1 meter width at a time. Weighs 13 kg.

To remove fresh snow that has not yet become covered with ice, manufacturers came up with a rotary brush. It can handle snow on a flat surface. In operation, it cleans a width of 880 cm at a time. The brush can be rotated by 25°. Equipment weight - 50 kg.

Motoblock Neva: attachments - potato planter

We mentioned a canopy for the walk-behind tractor, which helps us dig up the potatoes after they are ripe. But you can not only collect potatoes using a walk-behind tractor, but also plant them before that. There is a potato planter for this.

For the Neva walk-behind tractor, take the KSM-1 potato planter. A good device for planting tubers in a summer cottage. In addition to the Neva walk-behind tractor, it also fits the Cascade, Mustang and ZIRKA walk-behind tractors, but unlike the last two, the potato planter does not need an adapter to connect to the Neva.

Coma KSM-1 will fit KSN-1 to the Neva walk-behind tractor. This single-row device is good because it is suitable for all types of walk-behind tractors: light, medium and heavy.

Standard reversible plow for the Neva walk-behind tractor

If you use your plow to plow the land before planting crops, instead of a standard mounted plow, you can attach a reversible plow to the Neva walk-behind tractor. The advantage of this variety is that the plow has two bodies, so there are no gaps in tillage.

The reversible plow is installed on 100-kilogram units; larger weights are possible. Of course, if the walk-behind tractor is a little smaller, you can always hang a weighting device. Such a canopy is good to buy for the Neva walk-behind tractor. When plowing, Zykov's plow covers the soil to a width of 19-23 cm. In addition to the Neva, the reversible plow can easily be connected to the Zubr, Salyut and ZIRKA walk-behind tractors.

How to make a universal rake for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands

It seems that there is no equipment for a walk-behind tractor that is simpler in its design than a rake. All the better for those who want to make them themselves and not spend money.

Of course, provided that you have the materials for this and a welding machine. To make a homemade rake from a walk-behind tractor, you need to take a metal pipe and strong rods in the form of half rings.

A water pipe (if available) can easily be used for the pipe. We should make the rake teeth 700-800 mm high. It is necessary to fasten the rods along the entire length of the pipe with a welding machine.

The rake must be connected to the walk-behind tractor using an adapter. If you wish, you can get what is shown in the photo above. By the way, if you want to make such a rake, you can take the drawbar from the trailer if you don’t need it, and slightly rebuild what is behind the seat.

Any owner of his own garden knows what it is like to manually plow the beds and pull the weeds. To make plowing easier, a plow is used. But using animal power or a tractor for a small area is costly and unwise. For these purposes, walk-behind tractors are used - mainly Neva, MTZ, Oka, Farmer, Centaur. To put it simply, it is an engine with wheels onto which various attachments are mounted - from carts to plows. Our step-by-step instructions will tell you about the latter, or rather about how the plow is adjusted on a walk-behind tractor.

Installing a plow on a walk-behind tractor via a hitch

The hitch is what attaches the plow to the tow bar of the walk-behind tractor. They exist in two types: universal and stationary. The universal one is more preferable for work, as it allows you to make some more precise settings.

Tip: to make installation of the plow easier, place the walk-behind tractor on stands, which can be bricks, boards or stones.

Attaching the plow is quite simple - it takes its place on the towbar and is fixed with one pin.

Many people think that by screwing it securely, the work will go easier and faster. In fact, it's just the opposite. Due to the fact that during plowing, forces directed perpendicular to the plane of the moldboard act on the plow, there is resistance, which tends to pull the entire unit to the side. With a rigid attachment, the worker has to exert effort, literally pressing the walk-behind tractor into the ground. Therefore, it is necessary to leave a backlash in the horizontal plane of about 5 degrees.

Plowing depth and how to adjust it

Plowing depth is the distance the plow goes deep into the ground while working. You need to set the depth to the distance that the bayonet of the shovel takes. Otherwise, the following effects may occur:

  • If the depth is insufficient, most of the weed roots will remain underground, which will require additional effort to remove them.
  • If the depth is greater than necessary, the fertile layer of soil will mix with what is underneath and the plants will not receive proper nutrition.

Therefore, it is necessary to adhere to the golden mean.

The depth is adjusted using bolts that fasten the plow stand and lock together. Accordingly, moving the plow up and down, this adjustment is carried out.

Pay attention to the design of your plow - if it has only one bolt connection and, accordingly, one hole, adjustment is impossible on this model.

Field board tilt

For those who already have experience, there is no need to explain what and how to do at this stage. Below is information for those who are encountering this activity for the first time.

The inclination of the field board, or as it is also called the angle of attack, is the inclination of the level of the plowing plane relative to the surface. Adjustment occurs via a screw handle.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Install the walk-behind tractor with the plow on the stands that were mentioned at the beginning of the article.
  2. Turn the adjustment knob to the maximum until the field board rests completely on the ground, without gaps.
  3. Start turning the handle in the opposite direction until the back is 2-3 centimeters above the ground.

If you make a mistake here, there will be consequences:

  • At a large angle of attack, the plow will turn into an anchor - the walk-behind tractor will constantly slip and move forward with difficulty;
  • If the angle is small, the required layer of soil will not be removed.

You can check whether everything is correct at the plowing stage - the walk-behind tractor should not rest against or go too easily.

First furrow and blade angle

Once the previous steps have been completed, it is time for the final adjustment to ensure that subsequent furrow cutting runs smoothly. To do this, the walk-behind tractor is placed at the edge of the plot, the plow is driven into the ground and the first furrow is driven. It is important to maintain a straight line at this stage so that subsequent passes will also be level. A thread stretched on pegs or another guide can help here.

At this stage, it is best to check how deep the plow goes into the ground - place a ruler or tape measure in the furrow. If necessary, adjust the plowing depth.

Then, with one wheel, the walk-behind tractor is placed in the furrow and the plow is oriented so that it is perpendicular to the ground; to do this accurately, use a square. If you are not comfortable doing this in the ground, place the walk-behind tractor on a flat surface, placing a stand under one wheel that matches the depth of the furrow. After this, setting up the plow is considered complete and you can proceed to the second and third furrow.

The article examined the so-called light walk-behind tractors, which are mostly used in dachas. But there are also severe varieties. Their main differences are that the latter are many times more powerful and more bulky. They are also equipped with diesel engines. This choice is due to the fact that, with the same volume at operating speed, a diesel engine has more torque than a gasoline engine.

Installing and setting up a plow for this type of equipment is no different from what was described above. The only thing worth noting is that it is better to set up two workers, because the weight of heavy walk-behind tractors sometimes exceeds 200 kilograms.

The first and most important thing to note is to follow safety precautions.

In general, the design of the walk-behind tractor is clear and simple. But in any case, like any other equipment, it needs care and timely maintenance and replacement of consumables. Use only high-quality spare parts recommended by manufacturers.

To prevent mixing of the fertile layer and what is underneath it, change the direction of plowing every season. In this case, you will reduce the likelihood of crop failure.

If your plow does not have height adjustment, you can drill an additional hole in the stand yourself. But make sure that the structure does not lose its rigidity.

With the invention of the plow, humanity began to rapidly develop agriculture. Nowadays, the arable land has naturally changed, and various variations have appeared. For owners of smaller plots, it is most convenient to use a plow. These mobile and convenient units are in great demand among gardeners. They can be used to treat soil with a resistance of 0.5 kg/cm2. Therefore, it is worth understanding in more detail the question of how to choose a plow for a walk-behind tractor?

Device

Typically, a plowshare consists of a stand, a blade, a feather and a ploughshare. If it is double-sided, then, accordingly, it has a right and left blade and ploughshare. The material from which such units are made is high-strength tool steel. Devices can be either solid or collapsible. The latter are better, because If the blade becomes dull, it can be removed and sharpened.

There are plows, both universal and specific, that are suitable for specific units. There are three types:

1. single-body – used for cultivating light soil, because equipped with one ploughshare;
2. A reversible or reversible plow for a walk-behind tractor can be used when working on harder ground due to the feather-shaped plowshares that are curved to the top. Tillage produces well-loose soil, simplifies further work with it and practically removes weeds;
3. rotary – equipped with several shares, allows you to cultivate soil up to 30 cm in depth with less physical effort.

Popular models

When choosing a plow model, you should definitely take into account the quality of the soil on the site. In most cases, after using the fallow area, the soil needs to be further cultivated. The moment of adjusting the product and the motor unit is also important to achieve the highest quality processing result with minimal effort.

So, popular models:

Mole. Single-hull, weight 8.59 kg. The soil gripping depth is 15-20 cm. Can be used with walk-behind tractors “Plowman”, “Cascade”, “Neva”, “Agat”, “MB-2”, “MB-1 Oka”, “Hitachi S169”, “NMB-1” Ugra";

P1-20/3. Reversible, single-case, weight 13 kg. The depth of soil grip is the same as that of the above models. Can be used with mini tractors “Ghepard”, “Agro”, “MTZ Belorus”, “Mobil K G85”;

Firework. Universal single-hull, weight 8 kg, as seen in the photo. Depth – 15-20 cm. Suitable for mini tractors “Vulcan”, “Bison”, “Zirka”, “MB”, “Neva”, “Centaur”;

Zykova. Scientific and technical development, double-furrow plow for walk-behind tractor, weight 9 kg. Working depth is 20-25 cm. Used with mini tractors “Neva”, “Salut”, “Favorit”, “Gepard”, “Zirka”, “Pubert”, etc., suitable for almost all walk-behind tractors;

Reverse, for example, GS12, GS101, weighs 18 kg, depth - 20-25 cm;

Double-turn weigh about 15 kg, tillage depth is 15-20 cm;

Rotary. Reversible with several blades, which can be used with almost all models of walk-behind tractors. Weight 40 kg, depth – 30 cm.

Judging by the description of the above models, the price ranges from 1-5 thousand rubles. Of course, the rotary model stands apart due to its design and price. But besides the differences in price, there are models that deserve special attention.

Zykova

A plow with a polymer coating, a good selection of angles and blade geometry with minimal energy consumption, as can be seen in the photo. Perfectly crumbles the soil, preventing the growth of weeds. The stroke depth and tilt angle are steplessly adjustable. Has many positive reviews. Also, since 2010, the Zykov reversible plow has been on sale. It is much more efficient and productive than a single blade.

Rotary

Plows of this type differ significantly from bladed ones due to the presence of a certain number of plowshares, which are curved and fixed on one axis. During operation of such a unit, the axis with blades, due to its rotation, turns the soil over. It has both its supporters and opponents. But given the sufficient demand, the rotary apparatus is very popular.

Good for compacted or overgrown soil. The processing depth of such a unit is 25-30 cm. Another qualitative difference between rotary plows is the work trajectory, i.e. the ability to move in different directions.

Let's sum it up

It may not be advisable to buy an expensive rotary plow for a walk-behind tractor to work on a small area. But the plow is an excellent assistant for the summer resident. It will make life easier and reduce the cost of hiring a tractor to plow the plot. Nowadays, a wide range of these units allows you to choose a unit to suit your taste and budget.

Used for plowing the area. Today, this device has become much more modern. In addition, installing it has become much easier. This type of equipment would be advisable to use on small plots of land intended for plowing. It can replace the owner of a tractor, which makes no sense to use on small areas. Such attachments can easily cope with the ground, which has a resistance of 0.5 kg/cm 2.

The ploughshare is of the correct geometric shape, and the heel design is perfect for plowing hard ground. The unit is made of durable material and has a dismountable design. The materials for the production of the unit are not chosen randomly, since during operation the part is subjected to heavy loads. After the work of the attachment, the soil is treated with a cultivator.

For each type, for example, Salyut, Neva or Favorite, the corresponding type of equipment is used. Today there are also universal models that are compatible with any type of equipment.

Plow settings on a walk-behind tractor, tips:

There are three types of plows for walk-behind tractors:

  1. Single-hull. Has only one ploughshare. They are mainly suitable for light soil.
  2. Reversible or reverse. The soil is turned over using plowshares curved to the top, in the shape of a feather. This device allows you to work on much harder soil. After such processing, the earth becomes more crumbly and its further processing is simplified. In addition, weeds practically do not grow in the future.
  3. Rotary. Equipped with several blades.

The most popular models:

When selecting a brand, it is necessary to take into account the characteristics of the soil on the site, as well as the power of the unit and model. Do not forget that a lot depends on the correct installation and configuration of the unit before work. Let's look at the most popular devices for plowing the land. Let's arrange the models in ascending order of their cost.

  1. Mole. The unit is single-hull type, weighing 8.59 kg. It can cultivate soil with a depth of 15-20 cm. Walk-behind tractors such as Neva, Agat, MB-2, Plowman, Cascade, Hitachi S169, MB-1 Oka, NMB-1 Ugra, etc. are suitable for work. The cost will be 1000-1200 rubles.
  2. P1-20/2. Single-hull model. Works the same soil depth as the previous device. Weighs 8.5 kg. Works on such devices as: Luch, MB-2 Neva, Mobile K G85, Hitachi S169, Agat, etc. The cost ranges from 1200 to 1300 rubles.
  3. P1-20/3. A reversible model, weighing 13 kg and a tillage depth of 20-25 cm. Motoblocks MTZ Belarus, Ghepard, Mobile K G85 and Agros are used for work. The price is 1300-1500 rubles.

  5. Zykov's plow. Weighs 9 kg and cultivates soil with a depth of 20-25 cm. Designed for brands: Salyut, Neva, Favarit, Oka. The price is 1700-1800 rubles.
  6. Reverse for models: GS 81, GS 101, GS 12. Weight is 18 kg, and the depth of the cultivated soil is 20-25 cm. It is in the price category of 3300 -3500 rubles.
  7. Double turn. Weight – 15 kg. The depth of the cultivated soil is 15-20 cm. Cost is 4050-4150 rubles.
  8. Rotary. It consists of several blades, weighs 40 kg and cultivates the soil to a depth of 30 cm. It is compatible with almost any type of equipment. The cost can range from 70,000 to 78,000 rubles.

When comparing prices for equipment for plowing land in Russia, you will notice that the cost ranges from 1000 to 5000 rubles. Of course, without taking into account the rotary model, which is different from the rest. Having analyzed the cost of such goods, it is necessary to take a closer look at some of them, which have their own distinctive features.

Zykov's plow, video and description:

A distinctive feature of this device is that, thanks to its specially designed shape, it perfectly plows the ground, crumbling and turning it over. This feature will allow you to almost completely get rid of weeds.

Zykov's plow , consists of a body with a ploughshare, a stand attached to the walk-behind tractor, a field board, with the help of which the equipment rests on the walls of the furrow and makes the model more stable, a supporting part, a feather, which, by turning the soil, makes it possible to obtain even and uniform arable land.

Rotary plow and its characteristics:

This unit is fundamentally different from other models, and therefore is often compared to a cultivator. Structurally, this unit consists of several plowshares, curved in shape, mounted on one axis. When turned on, the axis rotates and turns the earth. This significantly distinguishes a rotary plow from a cultivator.

With little physical effort, the rotary unit can cultivate the soil to a depth of 25-30 cm. Working with such equipment is quite simple, since you can move along various trajectories, and not just in a straight line, unlike others. Disputes flare up among experts regarding the effectiveness of this unit, but it is still popular among summer residents who use it when processing compacted or overgrown soil.

Purchasing an expensive rotary plow for processing a small area is not advisable; it will be cheaper to pay for the work of professionals with the appropriate equipment. After plowing the soil for the first time, working with it will subsequently become much easier. Not very dense soil can be processed with units of a simpler design. Therefore, solve your problems based on these recommendations, do not spend extra money for the sake of capacities that will run idle. See you again and good luck in processing your site!

The advent of walk-behind tractors has significantly reduced the amount of physical input required for agricultural work. Making a traction mechanism yourself is quite difficult, but making a plow for a walk-behind tractor with your own hands is not such a difficult task.

Advantages

Making your own plow for a walk-behind tractor has its positive aspects: compliance of the parametric characteristics of the blade and ploughshare with the requirements of a specific type of soil. Speaking about parametric characteristics, it is customary to highlight efficiency, grip size, depth and quality of plowing, and blade angle.

Taking into account the power characteristics of a walk-behind tractor with a plow, it becomes possible to produce a plow that does not cause significant load on its engine, but provides maximum grip area. The use of high quality materials will increase the service life of the plow.

In addition, you can take into account the possibility of attaching different attachments. This will make the structure multifunctional, which in turn will make it possible to carry out the entire range of soil treatment work.

Plow design

The following types of plows are popular today:

  • single-hull;
  • rotary;
  • negotiable.

The first type is the most widespread. On the Internet you can easily find many diagrams and drawings of a single-body plow. This is the most preferable solution for those who do not have experience in making such structures on their own.

To create it you do not need any special tools. A standard set that can be found in any garage or outbuilding will be sufficient.

The difference between a reversible plow is the presence of a curved feather in the upper part of the structure, which allows you to immediately turn over the earthen layer when it is lifted. This is the best choice if you have to work on hard ground. Due to the complex design solution, only a specialist can make it.

The most labor-intensive is the rotary plow. Its design is similar to that of a cultivator, since it is equipped with several plowshares mounted on one axis. During plowing, the axis rotates, which causes the soil layer to turn over.

The advantage of this type of plow is the ability to cultivate soil to a depth of 0.3 m without any significant physical effort. In addition, it makes it possible to carry out arable work along different trajectories.

Instructions for creating a plow

Let's make a frame. To do this, we take a steel pipe measuring 52*40 mm with a wall thickness of approximately 7 mm. By cutting off the wide opposite walls of the frame, we make a fork.

Then we make a middle mark on the frame for subsequent installation of the transverse crossbar and spring struts for attaching the drawbar. The hole in the front of the frame structure must be carefully welded.

We attach the plow stand. To do this, we drill through holes with an area of 3.1 * 1.6 cm in a wide piece of pipe used in the manufacture of the frame. The size of the holes in the narrow frame walls for installing the handle should not exceed 1.02 cm. We make the handles from a pipe with a diameter of 0. 5 inches.

We make a hitch. This is an important part of the plow. It is this that ensures reliable fixation with the walk-behind tractor. The most popular is the U-shaped channel mount, installed under the steering part. When manufacturing this element, you will need to make holes for installing the bracket and mounting pin.

We make the main working parts. First of all, these include the ploughshare and blade. A steel sheet up to 5 mm thick is perfect for their manufacture.

First we make a ploughshare. It would be appropriate to use an old circular saw blade here. You can use an anvil to sharpen the cutting part of the ploughshare.

Then we make a dump from a steel pipe measuring 0.6 m. To do this, take cardboard or paper. We make a template out of them, apply them to the pipe and trace them. Next, we cut it out using a welding machine. We process the resulting dump with emery or a grinder.

Assembling the plow. You will need a steel sheet with an area of 0.25 square meters. m. All parts must be welded to it, starting from the side shield and ending with the ploughshare. The work should be done especially carefully. Next, take a hammer and chisel and disconnect the metal sheet on which the welding work was carried out.

Then all that remains is to clean the seams, grind the blade and ploughshare, and paint the entire structure. These measures will add aesthetics to the plow and increase its service life.
